Boston is a Big City? Fuck That

So I'm part way through my two weeks two state farewell tour of all my family and for the first week I'm in Boston with my mothers side of the family (The Russian Jew Side). For some reason I really don't have any friends from Boston that I can recall (Other than Mr. Goldman and this one dude who lives in Florida most of the year) so there really hasn't been much to do.

My grandparents live in a nice town known as Coolidge Corner where the property values are crazy high (the condos next door have sold for 1 Million a piece and all have been sold). Unfortunately, theres really not much to do, besides this comic book store. I actually collect old comics, and yes, Marvel is better than DC hands down. My dad started me as a kid with what was left of his and I've been expanding it ever since. My favorite character would have to be Gambit.

Though it is not commonly known, this guy can actually turn into Kinetic Energy (Most of the time you only see him throwing cards, which is awesome, but not the full extent of his powers. Apparently he had his powers blocked as a kid because he couldn't control them, but later gets them back and has control over all forms of kinetic energy) He can even go back in time, which is pretty bad ass.

But back to what I was saying, so I went into Cambridge (By Harvard) where there are all these people playing chess. Thats cool, except there aint shit else to do there. I mean they have some nice restaurants and an Urban Outfitters (Who Doesn't) But it really is dead over there. So then my mom said "Why don't you go check out Newberry Street" and so I hopped on the "Charlie Tram" and headed down there. Long story short is its a bunch of overpriced boutiques and (surprise surprise) and Urban Outfitters. The one redeeming feature was this store that was like the Boston version of Ubiq, which was pretty cool. Too bad I don't really need new shoes and am just cheap anyways.

The moral of this story is that when you come to Boston, do yourself a favor, bring a friend.

Anticipation

It's almost time, the next phase begins soon. I'm heading up to Boston and NYC to visit some family one last time before I head out. UPenn starts kind of late, so for all of my friends going to school around Philly, I'll be seeing you sonn. Holla.

Until next time.

Bruno <3

Yeah so I heard through the grape vine that this movie was straight gay porn and that it wasn't even worth downloading.

...Then I was in NYC with my friend and they wanted to see it, so I figured fuck it, why not. Turns out that the movie is actually fucking hilarious with some homsexuality spread throughout. Other than this really really really really gay part, thats actually funny, but incredibly gay, it really isnt that bad, for all of you homophobes out there.

Go See It. NO HOMO

My Finger

Yeah so I like to play soccer too. I played goalie for a club team, and a little for Starfinder. Had to stop back in March because it was tennis time.

Well a couple of weeks ago, I got the chance to play again. Rusty and ill prepared (No pads or goalie gloves), I proceed to dislocate my finger, but kept on playing. While my play improved over time, my finger only got worse. Found out today that I popped a few ligaments in there. Aint that a bitch.

My Ninja Cliff

Yeah so I love Roy Halladay. Too bad his manager is a nut, that really didnt help them at all. Instead we got my man Cliff.

He had a good year three years ago and an amazing year last year (Cy Young anyone?) This was in part thanks to his development of a new pitch, the ever craved slider.

So Has Anybody Looked Outside Lately?

My dorm room at UPenn (Harrison College House for those who are interested) affords me an amazing view of the city from all directions. I've spent a good deal of time since I got here simply gazing out the window and admiring the beautiful city that is Philadelphia. So the next time that your up high and you've got some time, take some time to gaze out that window, who knows, maybe you'll see something you like, find that thing your looking for.
